At this past Thursday's council meeting, Historic Flat Rock mentioned that they believe the N. Highland Lake Road project requires a Section 106 review by the federal government due to the fact that King Creek is a waterway under the direction of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The state Department of Transportation is gathering input on its 10-year plan that identifies priority projects and schedules them for funding.
