“Attorneys Lindsay S. Brinton and Meghan S. Largent, members of a St. Louis-based firm specializing in rails to trails litigation, will host educational meetings in Tryon and Saluda, and Landrum and Inman, South Carolina, Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the potential compensation claims of landowners who own property along the Saluda Grade railroad line.
The Norfolk Southern rail line is expected to be converted to the 31-mile Saluda Grade Rail Trail under the federal rails-to-trails program. Hundreds of landowners may be eligible for compensation from the federal government for the taking of their land, the attorneys say. . .”
